- Duffy, Katherine
- (1962- )Irish poet born in Dundalk, County Louth, she now lives in Dublin. After working for many years as a librarian, she now works as a parliamentary translator in the Houses of the Oireachtas (the Parliament of Ireland). She writes fiction in both English and Irish, and her award-winning novel for teenagers, Splanctha!, was published by Cló IarChonnachta in 1997.
